Heritage Resort in Matheran – A Surreal Experience amidst Colonial Charm

by thebykeblog

The Byke Heritage nestles in the charming little hill station of Matheran, cosily perched amidst the mighty Sahyadri’s. Sprawling across a good 7 acres, this massive property was one of the first Matheran Resorts, built in 1854, during the times of the British Raj. The gorgeous retreat, surrounded by lush green foliage, exudes colonial charm, which is sure to transport you into a surreal dimension. A tranquil escape for travellers looking to take a break from the city noise.

The property comes with an Olympic size pool and rain dance, to cool it out during the sultry summers; and a luxurious spa to de-stress and rejuvenate yourself. For those who love party scenes, the Byke Heritage comes with a discotheque and a well-stocked bar. For the love of sports and games, you will find that there is no dearth of indoor and outdoor activities. What more? They also organise musical evenings, dramas and ‘kathputli’ shows; to keep you entertained at all possible times. The pure veg restaurant is an extreme delight with scrumptious multi-cuisine dishes whipped by master chefs. It’s the perfect setting for the family get together or a reunion with friends. Fret not! It’s ideal for businesses’ as well; as you can hold corporate seminars at their banquet and conference halls that can host a maximum of 250 people.
